Hello, my name is Elise and I'm working from home at the moment, managing the social media stuff and doing other work online. The rest of Team Mouse are still in the warehouse so we thought we'd give you a bit of insight to what they're getting up to!
Marianne starts her day with a couple of cups of STRONG coffee, today she made a cappuccino with oat milk for the first time. Delicious! Sadly, she didn't have much time to herself as an impatient Kenny demanded breakfast. His favourite brekkie at the moment is Felix As Good As It Looks tuna flavour. Kenny is a good boy on the whole, as long as he gets fed and some attention.
Arriving at work, James prints out the orders and answers customer emails usually while listening to PopMaster on BBC Radio 2. James is a PopMaster pro and we think he should go on the show!
Ellie then packs up the post (at a safe social distance) making sure the Mouse Gang gets their orders in swift time! Ellie helps us out a couple of days a week, the rest of the week she is busy studying for her degree. Ellie is also a whizz with a needle and helps us repair damaged items. We don't know what we'd do without her ❤️
While Ellie packs, Marianne picks the rest of the orders keeping a good system going. As you can see most stock is kept hanging for quick and correct picking.
Leaving James and Ellie to finish packing the post, Marianne prepares to take photos of vintage items ready for launching on the website. We have some gorgeous vintage stock and for 2021 it will be our focus. Keep an eye out for what's to come!
The post is all packed up and we just wait for the lovely postman to come and collect. Our posties are absolute stars and we couldn't survive without them, so thank you posties!
After a busy afternoon of taking stock photos and packing post, it's time for the the team to head home and for James and Marianne to take turns to have a snuggle on the sofa with Dolly. This pic is extra large because omg, how cute is she!? 😍
